  • sanskrit and most of the european languages are indo germanic sister languages as mentioned in modern linguistics :that is why ths similarity : in indian languages phonological corruption is greater than that of indo germanic languages but if that corruptions are properly understood then you will see that the etymology of more than seventy percent of words in a language like eve tamil related to old sanskrit

  • Rajesh Shanker i afraid that comparing sansKRit with any other regional languages hardly make any sense.comparing sansKRit with any of the ancient form of indian languages has some relevance.eg.sansKRit with chenthamizh.

  • Narayanan Potti word roots should be considered for eg you will think that the word "thanthai-father-in chenthanizh is non sanskrit:but actually thanthai is an old vedic sanskrit word; vedic sanskrit and sanskrit are entirely different.vedic sanskrit was much older than indo germanic languages lke sanskrit.similarity can be derived but as said earlier determining the so called much corruptions formed while cosidering vedic s anskrit

  • Rajesh Shanker agree with the posibility of your observation sir.but is it true that even in the place like baloochisthan,they have a language ,whichis regarded as very ancient , has an amazing similarity with thamizh language?how is it possible where both people are geographically distant from each other?isit possible to trash the aRyan invasion completely to the trash bin?
